Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Cornerstone Plumbing & Mechanical (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information through the CPM Time Card mobile application (“App”). This App is designed exclusively for use by Company employees on company-managed devices.

Information We Collect

Employee Information

The App collects the following information about employees:

• Employee name and identifier (provided by company management)
• Department assignment
• Work status

Time and Attendance Data

When you use the App to record time events, we collect:

• Clock in/out timestamps
• Lunch start/end timestamps
• The type of time event recorded

Location Data

The App collects precise GPS location data only at the moment you tap a time clock button (Clock In, Clock Out, Lunch Start, or Lunch End). We collect:

• Latitude and longitude coordinates
• Location accuracy measurement
• Timestamp of location capture

Important: The App does NOT track your location continuously or in the background. Location is captured only during the specific moment of a clock action to verify work location for timecard accuracy.

Device Information

The App collects device information provided through our Mobile Device Management (MDM) system:

• Device identifier
• Device serial number
• Device name

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Time and Attendance Tracking: To accurately record employee work hours for payroll processing
• Location Verification: To verify that time entries are made at authorized work locations
• Compliance: To maintain accurate employment records as required by law
• Device Management: To associate time records with authorized company devices

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using the following measures:

• Data is stored in Google Firebase cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit
• Access to employee data is restricted to authorized management personnel
• The App stores data locally on the device to ensure functionality during network outages, with automatic synchronization when connectivity is restored

Data Retention

Time and attendance records are retained in accordance with applicable labor laws and company policies. Generally, records are maintained for a minimum of three (3) years or as required by law.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your information may be shared only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: With cloud service providers (Google Firebase) who assist in operating our systems, subject to confidentiality agreements
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority
• Payroll Processing: Time records may be shared with payroll service providers for compensation processing

Your Rights

As a Company employee, you have the right to:

• Access your time and attendance records through your supervisor or HR department
• Request correction of inaccurate time entries through established company procedures
• Understand how your data is being used by reviewing this policy

Company-Managed Devices

This App is intended for use only on company-owned and managed devices. By using this App on a company device, you acknowledge that:

• The device is company property subject to company policies
• The App is configured and managed through our MDM system
• Usage of the App is a condition of employment for time tracking purposes

Children’s Privacy

This App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
